WIAW – Not So Chatty

I’m not feeling particularly chatty today. But wanna see some pretty pictures of food?

Of course you do.

IMG 8018

smoothie – beefed up with some homemade Graw-nola.

IMG 8015

modified – only banana-sweetened, hemp instead of pumpkin and sunflower seeds.

IMG 7974

healthified, stacked french toast. If enough of you want it, maybe I’ll post a recipe…

IMG 7978

yogurt, figs, bananas, hemp seed, buckwheaties

IMG 8020

work snackage – I made Gina’s recipe into muffins.

IMG 8013

homemade veggie quinoa sushi

IMG 7969

lunch in the park Рspinach, peppers, carrots, smoked sardine salad, hot peppers (tasted just like the insides of a potbelly tuna sandwich!)

IMG 7970

frittata for dinner – kale, eggs, egg whites, daiya (super melty, dairy free!) cheeze, salsa

IMG 8022

salad bowl of yum – steamed kale, raw red okra, purple bell pepper, lentils, figs, balsamic-tahini dressing.

Sorry Jenn, I promise I’ll talk about staples again next week.

Now I’m hungry again.

Good thing it’s lunchtime.

What’s for lunch?

The frittata looks like perfection here Rachel! I would like the recipe for that if you had it :) I saw your board on pinterest, the one that has your recipes and I pinned a whole bunch of them, you have such good stuff!
Lunch today will probably be a smoothie, it’s sooo dang hot and humid here!

Thanks, Tessa! I didn’t really use a recipe for the frittata – just steam-fry some kale until wilted, then added a mix of eggs/whites/milk, cooked covered, and melted some daiya cheeze on top.
Thanks for the pins, Tessa :-)

Thanks Emm! I love buckwheat, so amazing- no need for frilly cereals. I’ve been wanting to try bee pollen, must go buy some soon.
