Hello There! So, the end of semester is seriously closing in on me, and instead of wracking my brain and stressing over a blog post, I have an awesome guest post for you today! Today’s post is from Kelsey, about something I don’t often cover on this blog – loving your workouts.  Don’t forget to check out her blog after :-)

Hey! I’m Kelsey from The Secret Life of Kelsey at http://fitnessfanatic007.blogspot.com My blog is a combination of my babysitting and teaching adventures, new recipes I’ve tried, product reviews, and my fun life in general. I love fitness and eating healthy! My favorite group fitness workouts are Zumba and Dance it Out.

Today, I wanted to talk about doing workouts that YOU feel most comfortable with. I am NOT a natural runner. It is not my favorite workout, and you know what? That is OKAY! There are PLENTY of other forms of exercise out there. The key is just to find what works best for you and have fun!

My favorite workouts are Zumba and Dance it Out. If you haven’t heard about Zumba yet, it is the latest Latin Dance Workout craze! Check out the website: http://www.zumba.com/  I can’t dance very well on my own, but I love to watch the instructor and dance my heart out. If you can’t do the moves exactly like the instructor, it is okay! Just shake yo’ groove thang and have a blast! That’s what I do.

Dance it Out is exactly like Zumba, except it only uses Modern Pop songs. I like this class even better than Zumba because I get to SING along with the music while I dance! My favorite songs that we do are Moves Like Jagger by Maroon 5 and Til’ the World Ends by Britney Spears.

I also do Spin Class twice a week. Spin is another good class, especially if you like really loud music and enjoy someone pushing you to work harder. I like to take this class twice a week to really get a good cardio workout. The instructor is very vocal and makes sure that we can hear her loud and clear. I like it because sometimes I get stuck into an easy routine with the elliptical, but this class shakes things up!

These are just a FEW of the endless amounts of group fitness classes available. I encourage you to find a class that YOU enjoy! It doesn’t matter what other people think. Just do what works for you and HAVE FUN while doing it!

Hope you will check out my blog sometime at http://fitnessfanatic007.blogspot.com

Have a GREAT day!

Kelsey
